In 2003 the International Astronomers' Union General Assembly was held at the Convention Centre in Sydney. Every day the Assembly published an eight page tabloid under the editorship of Seth Shostak, the Senior Astronomer for SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence). It was my responsibility to lay out and design each publication, deliver it to the printers, supervise the printing and see that it was delivered back to the conference by the next morning.
Between the two of us we wrote, edited and published 72 pages in nine days.
The head of the International Astrononmers' Union said it was easily the best publication in the history of the organisation's conferences.
